Dermot Gallagher
Dermot Gallagher - Former referee, now available for dinners and media
Dermot Gallagher Summary
Dermot Gallagher is the only referee who has been on the Premiership circuit since its very beginning. Gallagher was born in Dublin the day after Ireland’s famous 1-1 draw with England in Draymount Park and was named after Dermot Curtis, the Irish player who scored the goal that day. First appointed to the Football League as a linesman at 28, Gallagher has outlasted all his contemporaries. He has refereed on every continent except Australia, covered virtually every ground in the league - all this without, he says, a serious falling out with anyone! After retiring last season, he is available for dinners, media and refereeing. If you are interested in the England Supporters Band, please call.
